Additionally I tried renaming the BIOS file as I found in another post but this didnt work either. I also tried making the stick bootable and not bootable which didn't matter! Appreciate any thoughts.... -

Hello to all! So I have an M14x r1 that came to me stripped. I grabbed a power supply and attempted to boot it. So it beeps once with no POST. I realize this means a mobo or BIOS issue. So I attempted to recover it with the A4 BIOS from Dell and the laptop does not do anything with the 1Gb stick. I formatted as FAT and FAT32 and just put the BIOS fd file on the stick but it didn't work. Thoughts? Maybe it's CPU or GPU related and not BIOS?
